These sophisticated shawls are made with hand-spun, hand-woven cotton that has been tie-dyed with indigo. Produced by Phou Tai women in Savannakhet Province in southern Laos, the abstract motifs represent hooks, flowers, dragons, and the mythical Naga serpent. These pieces can be used as shawls or table runners.

Please note that as all motifs are hand-designed and use natural dyes, each piece is completely unique and represents the individual artists' style and process.
